Dr. Christopher P. Hollowell has been practicing medicine for over two decades and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Hollowell completed his surgical internship and residency in urologic surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospitals in 1993.
After his residency, Dr. Hollowell joined his father's urology practice in Detroit, continuing a family legacy in urology that extends to his brother, who is the chairman of urology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Hollowell has been awarded clinical assistant professorships in both urology and gynecology at Wayne State University, Michigan State University, Florida Atlantic University, and Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Hollowell is an active member of numerous organizations including the American Urologic Association, the Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology, the North Central Urologic Section, Michigan State Medical Society, Michigan Urological Society, the Association of Clinical Urologist, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
Fun Fact: Dr. Chris Hallowell has written numerous articles and books. He’s also appeared on radio and television and has given several international, national, and statewide lectures!
He believes in the power of compassion in medicine, often quoting his father's teaching that "you can heal as many patients with respect and compassion as you can with a scalpel."
In his free time, Dr. Hollowell enjoys contributing to medical education and staying at the forefront of urological advancements to provide the best care for his patients.
