Dr. Kevin Lewis is a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of urologic cancers, including prostate, kidney, bladder, adrenal, ureteral, testicular, penile, and urethral cancers. He is also highly experienced in general and reconstructive urology, performing procedures for kidney stones, enlarged prostate (BPH), vasectomy, circumcision, and ureteral strictures. Dr. Lewis has advanced training in robotic surgery using both the multi-port and single-port DaVinci surgical systems, offering patients minimally invasive options with faster recovery times and excellent outcomes.
Dr. Lewis earned his medical degree and a Master’s in Medical Humanities and Bioethics from Northwestern University. He completed his urology residency at the Cleveland Clinic, in Ohio, one of the nation’s top programs, and a prestigious fellowship in urologic oncology and robotic surgery at City of Hope Cancer Center in California. With additional expertise in abdominal and retroperitoneal surgery, Dr. Lewis also performs abdominal exposures for anterior spinal fusion in collaboration with spine surgeons.
Passionate about patient-centered care, Dr. Lewis emphasizes clear communication, shared decision-making, and a deep understanding of each patient’s values and goals. When he’s not in the operating room, Dr. Lewis enjoys training for triathlons, hiking, and spending time with his family and two dogs. He’s also learning tennis and golf as new ways to stay active.
