Mini Varghese, M.D. is a native of New York. Born in Syracuse and raised in Rockland County, she moved to South Florida in 2011 when she joined Z Urology. 

She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY where she received her BS in Biochemistry cum laude. She received her medical degree at the SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine in Long Island, NY. She then completed a surgical internship at Geisinger Health System in Danville, PA, and finished her urologic surgical training at her alma mater University of Rochester. She received her Board Certification in 2013.

Clinically, Dr. Varghese has distinguished herself as a specialist in:

• Minimally invasive and robotic surgeries
• Urologic oncology
• Stone disease 
• Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
• Incontinence and sexual dysfunction

Dr. Varghese is well-trained in the use of minimally invasive surgery to treat enlarged prostates, kidney stones, and bladder tumors. Her surgical training emphasized the use of robotic surgery to treat prostate and kidney cancer as well as to repair and reconstruct the urinary system. She is excited to be able to provide these services to her urology patients in South Florida.

When not in the office or the operating room, Dr. Varghese and her husband are avid travelers when time permits and active participants in their child’s various sports interests right here in Broward County.
